====== Reskin An ATS ======

===== Expanding The ATS's CAR file =====

You will need ..

  * [[expandmainarchive|An expanded EarthEternal.archive]] file (contains all the car files)
  * The [[http://armouree.vm.bytemark.co.uk/downloads/CARDecode.exe|CARDecode.exe]] utility.

  - First choose one of the ATS's closest to what you need and find it's CAR file. For example, if you want to base your ATS on 'Broccan', then look for the file //ATS-Broccan.car//.
  - Create an empty folder somewhere on your computer. This will be your workspace. Copy the ATS file and the CARDecode.exe file into this directory.
  - Drag the ATS .car file on top of the CARDecode.exe icon, this will convert the .car file into a .zip file which should appear in the same directory.
  - Choose a name for your new ATS, and create another folder inside your workspace folder using this name. For example, if your ATS is to be called 'Broccan2', create a folder called 'ATS-Broccan2', and expand the contents of the .zip file into it.
  - Rename ALL of the files you just extracted. For example, if you were basing your new ATS on ATS-Broccan, all of the files will start with ATS-Broccan. You need to change all of the copies to have the new prefix, so in the case of our example 'ATS-Broccan2-.......
