They capture healthy Treekin seedlings and take them to the Rotted Nursery. Once these Treekin awaken and have sprouted, the Black Shroomies and Rotted on hand are able to corrupt the young seedlings. The Treekin seedlings will know not much more than a few moments of true life, before succumbing to the disease and a life of unknowable pain.
