Most of our focus here in the Thicket is on the Deadwood, but there is a matter of importance you could be of help with in the Great Forest. East of here is a large, rotted tree stump. It has recently come to light that the tree is now home to Hedorah, an ancient being that seems to be aiding the spread of the rot in the Great Forest. She is breeding more of her kind. We must not allow this.
